Brian Pongayow was born in Borneo and raised in Bandung, West Java. Living in Indonesia allows him to be very close to various local cultures and their diversity. He loved drawing since he was a child and spent many hours drawing characters.
Now, as an adult, he is passionate about illustrating children's books and spreading love, joy, positivity, and compassion through his artwork.
